It can be hard to fathom the view that Boudicca held as she lost her husband, King Prasutagus of the Iceni Tribe of Anglia. Even harder still, perhaps, to understand her life and the process of awakening she underwent once the Roman Empire stood to conquer the Iceni Tribe.
During our recent collaboration forum we identified signatures of multiple Goddesses, and thus herbs, that are energetically present as we begin to connect with her.

The Herbs
Dandelion
In many ways, there is a connection that Boudicca must have opened completely to: her heart. Her fierceness and leadership correspond to that space within us all.
When we think about the larger elemental signatures, how many of us connect it to the element of fire? How many connect the signature of fire to the sun and the sun to the heart?
Dandelion is one of the best herbs that support the heart and it’s flowers look like the Sun! This is how Dandelion came in first place as an herb for connecting to Boudicca (shout out to Grey!).

Cinnamon
Cinnamon is an herb that can kick anything up a notch! Whether it is protection, sovereignty, or prosperity, it can be an amazing helping herb. Also a fiery herb, it’s actually cooling to the constitution while allowing the Aries/Mars connection of the spark of creation to come through consciously in service to the heart. Boudicca could have taken immediate action but she chose strategy over reaction (shout out to Jane!).

Other Herbs
I encourage you to feel into, connect, and research the following herbs to uncover possible connections to Boudicca. Think through how she could have used their potency to balance her strategy and build her intuitive sight (or perhaps other uses you might find!)
- Mugwort
- Chamomile
- Cleavers
- Saffron

Directions
Add 1/2 tsp of each herb to a tea pouch or mesh and add to your cup. Pour 6oz of very hot (not boiling) water into your cup and steep for 5 minutes covered. You may drink as is or add a little honey.
The Magic
I often find sitting with a handcrafted tea to be insightful. The energetics being brought together do speak a language of their own and become a chorus once together. As you ingest the tea, call the energetics in holding the force of Boudicca in your mind and allow the connection to occur over a period of time.
