The Black Sacred Candle this month is purely individualized as a Flame of Healing with Hygeia. It is important that it be so. We have the tools we need to connect with Hygeia already, but I will provide a little more context that may be helpful!
Water
The conduit that speaks a language directly to the body is water. Water is impacted by the moon. As the first sliver of moon appears in the night sky, why not create a devotional bath or even a foot bath to yourself? The herbs and the chants infuse the water, and as you sink in you can allow the properties of the herbs to whisper her energy back to you.
Plants are healers, it means she of healing must have kissed them along the way somewhere, right?
The Conscious Connection
The purpose here is the creation of a circuit to your own conscious connection and intentionally allowing it to flow in a sacred container. Listening with all the senses and translating from the heart will be crucial. Hygeia will bring forward information for you to utilize in the creation of your own Black Sacred Candle. It may not make sense right away, but following the heart instead of analyzing it into oblivion will allow a deeper connection going forward.
The Shift
One of my greatest teachers, Sajah Popham, opened my eyes to the influence between planets, plants, and people. Utilizing such a triangle for the axiom of “know thyself” and the understanding that Health holds layers too, the creation of this candle is a shift to holding the fire of healing and growth as focus.
