I found her out on Lake Jocassee
The wind her breath
The warmth kissing my skin
The water, clear and beautiful, cascading down the rocks into a beautiful pool
The songbird melodies, a language of abundance
Looking down into the water, there she was – her bow magically a paddle.
But there she was, a reflection staring up at me from the water

Origins
In the beginning, there was nothing. And everything. Where we all come from is exactly that, Chaos, Logos, the Great Darkness, or whatever one chooses to call it. From the dark came a division, the first dichotomy.
Those in The Sacred Essence know this story well.
This first division birthed the elements and everything in and around us. They are reflections and facets of energy (force), into form (physicality) following this same pattern throughout time and space. Calling the energetic force forward, like that of Artemis, may seem daunting. What if I told you that is only because you’re searching based on what you’ve been told she should be?

Everything and No-thing
What if she isn’t? What if she’s not a single thing, but a piece of everything? A part of a season, a part of a nurturing act, a part of springing forward to a goal? What if that energetic force, or facets of her, are imprinted upon us at the time of our first breath the same way the force was created to begin with: from nothing.
And everything.
At the same time.

Finding Her for Ourselves
It’s not so hard then, is it, to see the reflections in the mirror and see Artemis? Or perhaps to see her in the lake as we look into it. To call forward the facets of her that we hold in moments that seem unconnected. Our gnosis of her, through finding her within us, can be a powerful portal to walk through.
If you’ve not yet found her in the mirror, felt her breath upon your skin, or recognized her within yourself then I invite you to listen to this story and take a journey with me to find her for yourself.
