Crafting a Cord to Artemis allows us to connect to Artemis as she is to us. As it is woven we are calling upon her, honoring her, and being a conduit for the facet of her that uniquely shines through each of us. Only you know and only you can make yours!
Connecting to the Far Shooter
If you’re unsure where to begin or want more insight, here is a guided meditation that may help!
Being the far-shooter that Artemis is, this cord often reminds me of the string of a bow. The string is crafted carefully to create tension for aiming arrows and enough force to ensure they land the mark.
What is the material of the bow that you can attach your cord to? What is your means of reaching the farthest point of your desires and abundance that you can see?
- Is it a pen?
- Is it a computer?
- Is it a notebook?
- Is it your garden?
- Is it your kitchen?
Focus and find your medium. If this is challenging, allow Artemis to time walk with you to the moment you hit your mark and then walk backward to see what the medium may be. It could be multiple things! This information helps determine the length of the cord you need. If there are 3 or 4 items, you may want to have a piece of your cord to tie onto each one and you may want to make it a bit longer!
Materials
- Cord, yarn, thread, string, or other such materials of the same type.
- Any additional items that are revealed or hold power for you with Artemis (beads, bells, bones).
Process
Let this process be guided by her through you. Light your Black Sacred Candle and create the space for her. Utilize knot magic and weaving as you feel led. Those in Dark Goddess Collective enjoyed time together crafting ours and it was beautiful to see the various ways in which we crafted them, including the additional pieces added.
