nanna meets us where we are and pushes the limits. However, this is not to lead us as a sacrifice to be devoured. At least not by her, nor by her sister. No, she wants us to see our truth. As you create your Black Sacred for Inanna, keep in mind she leads us forward with honor to devour for ourselves that which does not honor the truth we hold within.
Never created a Black Sacred Candle? We have you covered! Learn how here.

Supplies & Ingredients
- Damiana
- Agrimony
- Lavender
- Cinnamon
- Rose
- Oil of Inanna
- Candle Scribe or toothpick
- Aluminum Foil
- Parchment paper
- Salt
- Candle holder

Directions
- Take a piece of aluminum foil (large enough to wrap your candle in) and place it on your workspace.
- Take a piece of non-stick parchment paper (about the same size as your aluminum foil) and place it on top of the aluminum foil. Trick: Fold the edges of the aluminum foil over the top of the edges of the parchment paper to keep it from rolling!
- Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
- Over your parchment paper, carve your candle carefully with any symbols she has given to you.
- Using the Inanna Oil by Tania Ciolek, anoint the candle.
- Add your herbs to the candle.

- Wrap your candle tightly and place the wrapped candle in the oven.
- DO NOT LEAVE THE KITCHEN (lesson learned the hard way), turn your candle every 2 minutes (this took me about 12 minutes total).
- Pour salt into your candle holder.
- Nestle your completed Black Sacred Candle within the candle holder and add Rose.
- Light it a moment and speak or chant to Inanna for a moment, then snuff it out.
- Place your Black Sacred Candle upon your altar and light it daily!
Caution: Please make sure there are no large chunks of plant material as these can be dangerous or ‘pop’ during candle burning. As always, please abide by all fire safety rules.

Use
Light your candle to create sacred space when working your magic and to connect with Inanna!
May she always come when you call!
